# Cancel a job

Cancels one or more in-progress jobs, stopping further task execution.

Request:
ids        - List of job IDs to cancel. Only jobs not already in a terminal state
(FAILED, COMPLETE, or CANCELED) can be canceled. Jobs in RUNNING or
SUSPENDED states are eligible.

Response:
ids        - List of IDs of the jobs that were successfully canceled.
